The fluorinated lubricants are fluorocarbon ether polymers of polyhexafluoropropylene oxide. Fluorinated lubricants are also known as perfluoropolyether (PFPE), perfluoropolyalkylether (PFPAE), and perfluoroalkylether (PFAE).
